This week in 336, we discussed the positives and negatives of online learning. I think for myself, I’ve gotten used to learning online and that the pros outweigh the cons. A few of the cons for myself are being trapped in my room or house for every class can sometimes be lonesome in a sense and I definitely don’t love all the screen time. 

On the other hand, iit has saved me a ton of time. Because I don’t have to commute, and have a few hours of asynchronous class time, I am able to work more which is nice. I also find that breakout groups have been a great way to connect with my classmates. I am forced to speak with people in my class, who I might have never talked to in real life. It’s nice in a way that we are all going through the same thing together, as it gives us common ground. 

I have really enjoyed this course, and all of the valuable information and resources Michael has given us. Having guest speakers come in was awesome as well, as hearing from various people in the education community is always beneficial.
