I feel as if I have come along way since the start. I am still getting used to how to properly hold my instrument, as well as to be able to smoothly go from note to note. Although both my songs are finger plucking songs rather than strumming, I still practiced strumming both upwards and downwards. Thanks to the literacy worksheets and videos, I am more comfortable reading music sheets.

I have now learned Row, Row, Row Your Boat, but have not perfected it yet. I am beginning to learn Cotton Eyed Joe. This process of learning has been a lot of work, as I have been having a hard time keeping focused and consistently practicing. I have been using YouTube videos to help me in learning how to play, as well as asking my roommate to help me here and there.
